The Minister Clock of Taiwan
As kind as the moniker of “America’s mayor” to Rudy Giuliani after the September 11 attacks, Taiwanese admires and trusts the current Minister of Health and Welfare of Taiwan, Chen Shih-chung (陳時中). Because Mr. Chen’s giving name Shih-chung (時中) is the same pronunciation as “clock(時鐘)” so Taiwanese calls him “Minister Clock(時鐘部長)” and there is a social phenomenon of “Clockwise” in Taiwan.
Therefore, a Taiwanese artist, Tonn Hsu 許彤 makes a craft project of “Minister Clock” and free sharing for people to download and make their own “Clockwise” project at home or in the office by writing notes in the dialog box. :D
Maybe to make an American’s leadership table with Dr. Anthony Stephen Fauci at home is a good stay-home-project with kids too. :)

Every day at 2pm, Mr. Shih-chung and his team will host a press conference every day by the Taiwan Government, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC)
The team of Taiwan Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) includes but not limited to:
- Chen, Shih-chung(陳時中) is the current Minister of Health and Welfare and the Chief of CECC.
- Professor and Dr. Chang, Shan-Chwen(張上淳), M.D., Ph.D. Chief, Section of Infectious Diseases. Department of Internal Medicine. National Taiwan University Hospital.
- Dr. Chou, Jih-Haw(周志浩), is the Director-General of the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control. Dr. Chou got his master’s degree in MPH(Environmental Toxicology) at the US University of UC Berkeley and Dr. Chou is in charge of the Policy Decisions and Use of Information Technology.
- Dr. Chuang, Jen-Hsiang (莊人祥), MD, PhD, is the Deputy Director-General at Centers for Disease Control in Taiwan. Dr. Chung is in charge of the Epidemic Intelligence Center.
- Mr. Lin Ching-chi (林清淇) is the Director of the Civil Affairs Department.
- Mr. Jyan, Hong-wei (簡宏偉) is the director-general of Taiwan’s Department of Cyber Security (DCS).
